WHAT WE DO
The Forefront Project provides pro bono legal representation and advice to nonprofits to help them confidently:
craft effective and compliant advocacy campaigns, events, and communications;
track lobbying and ballot measure activity and report it under all laws that require it;
draft grant applications and reports; and
engage in impactful nonpartisan election-related activity.
We also help 501(c)(3)s with tandem 501(c)(4)s set up systems to maintain separation between entities without sacrificing operational effectiveness.
The Forefront Project's services enable organizations to focus on their core work in promotion of laws and policies that empower women to, among other things:
have control over their bodies and make decisions on whether or not to have children;
access affordable health care, including birth control, abortion, and maternal health services;
parent children in safe, and sustainable communities free of environmental hazards, with quality affordable childcare.
